**National Institute for Health Research Evaluation, Trials and Studies Co-ordinating Centre (NETSCC)**

NIHR Public Health Research (PHR) Programme

Primary research projects are likely to range from the small (lasting 12 months and costing less than £500,000 in all) to the large (several years and more than £1 million). Evidence synthesis projects will probably cost about £200,000 and last some 18 months.

The next cut-off date to submit outline proposals is 3rd June 2009.

**NIHR Research Capacity Development Programme**

In-Practice Academic Fellowships

It is envisaged that a maximum of 10 In-Practice Fellowships will be awarded across England on an annual basis. Funding is available for a maximum of two years.

The closing date is 13:00 on 6th April 2009.
