Academy statement in response to the announcement in the 2011 Budget ‘Plan for Growth’ that the Government will set up a new health research regulatory agency.
The statement includes comment from Academy President Professor Sir John Bell PMedSci and Professor Sir Michael Rawlins FMedSci, Chair of an Academy of Medical Sciences working group that prepared the report, ‘A new pathway for the regulation and governance of health research’.
